  6. I have finished A Family Apart, it was really touching and inspiring. Also, they do have a hard time adjusting, Belle.

  7. Did you know A Family Apart is the first book to a series? I finished the second one. I started the third one, and now I better start reading it; I really want to finish it! :)

    1. Smart girl! I love it when I find a good series to read! I hate it when I get to the end of a good book and realize that's it.. it's over! I think I read the Laura Ingalls Wilder Little House series at least 10 times when I was your age! How many books are in this series?

  12. This is a terrific book, and not just for girls. It is the first of the series. I lent Liberty the other 3 books, so anyone else may borrow them after we come back in August. Who can answer these 2 questions? 1. Why does Frances' mother allow her children to go on the orphan train to be adopted? 2. Why does Frances dress as a boy?
